The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Progressive Careers Institute Is designed to prepare the graduate to become a skilled entry-level ultrasound technician, and work effectively in the health care environment. It includes well balanced on-campus classroom hours, an on-campus (work-simutated) imaging laboratory component, off-campus integrated patient care clinical experience and clinical externship. Clinical sites include hospitals, imaging centers and doctor's offices. The diagnostic medical sonography program is a full-time, 18 month program, with a focus on the use of ultrasound for diagnosing pathological and pathophysiological conditions of the abdomen, superficial structures and gravid and non-gravid pelvis. The program is divided into two components: introductory ultrasound courses designed to build a solid foundation in scanning techniques and normal anatomy recognition followed by advanced courses that focus on pathological conditions and patient-focused case studies. The program consists of sequenced and integrated theory, lab, and clinical instructional tracks. The program is delivered using a blended format; a combination of hands-on face-to-face training in lab and clinic combined with live, online, instructor-led theory courses delivered using an array of distance technologies. The program prepares graduates for entry-level positions in the diagnostic medical sonography field including full-time, part-time and per diem roles.



Clinical Research Associate (CRA) is an 80 hours program. A college degree is a pre-requisite for this course. Graduates with a background in medicine, biomedical sciences, math, statistics, nursing, and social sciences such as business, psychology, sociology are successfully pursuing clinical research career. This course is offered in an online platform. The course comprises 10 modules. 10 modules are covered in 10 week period.

Study material is provided online. Tests are conducted online and test results are immediately available to student upon the submission of the test.




The EKG Technician course at Progressive Careers Institute is a 120 hour course. The course is comprised of two parts. Part I is equivalent to 80 contact hours and offered on Moodle, an online platform. The instructional material is delivered in the form of study notes, worksheets, assignments, interactive skill competency activities and study-related videos.
Online tests serve as learning progress assessment tool and test results are available to student immediately upon submission.

Part II is offered as a hands-on 40 hours internship at a clinical facility. Progressive Careers Institute will arrange an internship site after student has successfully completed the Part I of the course.
