About the Course
Patient Care Technician (PCT) – 300 hours
Patient Care Technicians work with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in healthcare facilities to provide direct patient care and comfort measures, take vital signs, collect specimens, and much more. This certificate program teaches multiple skills such as venipuncture, electrocardiography, and patient healthcare; nursing aide, preparing students for broader responsibilities and advancement opportunities.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible for National Certification through the National Certification Career Association (NCCA) or AMCA (American Medical Certification Association) to be Certified Patient Care Technician. It is a very fulfilling and rewarding career.
